Gear

Gearing up for Aconcagua gave us a little head start preparing for a trip to Denali.  Due to it's unique combination of altitude and latitude, however, Denali presents a much colder and inhospitable challenge.  Temperatures of -30 to -40F are not uncommon at the Summit in May or even June.  Add some wind, and you get the idea.  This primarily required us to upgrade our 800 fill down collection and also get boots that go over boots and help keep the piglets warm.  Below are some of the key pieces of gear that made the cut for Chris.
